It's Really Simple

As intellectual beings we complicate the simplest things in life, and cause a wave of emotions to overtake us. We then find ourselves in a 10 episode mini-series drama, when we could have play it out in a few minutes. Why do we do that? Could it be that we have not acknowledged that our self-abilities are not really ours, but the one who resides inside of us?
If we look at it from that perspective it may help us to grasp that anything we do works through us from a deeper source. So, without getting to deep let’s reference what Paul had to tell Corinth in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 (Message Bible).
"You’ll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God’s master stroke, I didn’t try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy. I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who he is; then Jesus and what he did—Jesus crucified.
I was unsure of how to go about this, and felt totally inadequate—I was scared todeath, if you want the truth of it—and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God’s Spirit and God’s power did it, which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to God’s power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else."
Wow, that is simple Paul! Jesus, the Christ came from the heavenly realm born in human form, resided on a  earthly realm to live an example and experience life as we do. He died by crucifixion but inside of staying in the crypt of the dead, he got up from the dead and has all power, over all things. It is He then that resides inside of us who accept and believe Him to be our Savior, and it is He that works inside of us, so we don’t have to feel inadequate in our daily lives, hum...refreshing.
So love ones who are reading this blog, know that Jesus Christ wants to do great things through you. Many individuals will not understand because they're trying to fit you in a size 6 shoe, when really you’re a size 10. In fact, we convenience ourselves we have limitations, but know there are NO LIMITATIONS through Christ. That’s why Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” It’s through Christ, which takes you out of the equation, it's not by your own abilities but HIS. So, there is NO judgment from any human being that can truly size you up.
Paul continues to write:
“The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn’t have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross. That’s why we have this Scripture text:
No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this,
Never so much as imagined anything quite like it—
What God has arranged for those who love him."
Know today that HIS plan didn’t just stop at the cross, it’s still ALIVE and well working through you, so keep on moving in Christ!
